Valued JConcepts racers spoke, and JConcepts listened during the 2022 and the 2023 racing seasons when development began on the 2.2” Swiper tire. Designed to compete on dirt oval track surfaces which require a hefty treaded tire that can go the distance. The Swiper tire can pull double duty for any 2.2” buggy based wheeled vehicles and perform in extreme grooved or conditioned surfaces. The Swiper tire has hefty tread blocks, thickened carcass, and a racing profile for high speeds.
The high-speed carcass is advanced with deep pads of directional tread poised to bite specific surfaces. The platform has a heavy center bar section of tread that provides openings and can help drive a vehicle in wet or slightly loamy conditions. The side tread is equally spaced, grooved and cut to slice through the dust, marbles, and small debris associated with dirt oval racing. The ultra low-profile carcass gives quicker response, less sidewall deflection, and tire coning. A specially built firm closed cell insert supports the upper sidewall and top of the carcass.
The Swiper tire is available in blue (soft), Aqua A2 (medium soft long-wear), and Silver (clay) compounds. The included Dirt-Cell insert is a harder based material, stealth black in color, with minimal sculpting to provide the most amount of support for increased durability and drivability. Mount the Swiper tire on Sprint cars, Late Models, and Midwest Modifieds with popular JConcepts wheels such as 3347 or 3397 (front) and 3348 or 3398 (rear).
